Guest Cleaning

Nothing like unexpected company coming to help you get a project done.  I got a call from my best friend from college and she needed a place to crash the next night.  I needed a place for her and her hubby to sleep.  I immediately got working on the office.  With the crib in there I realized i would have to take the crib apart in order to make enough room for the queen size Areo bed (which was very comfy by the way).  I still kept workin’.  Eventually i figured that i would just slide the 3-year-olds mattress into the office and set up the queen in his room which is the biggest guest room we have.

It worked great!  The boys even slept well together and i finally compiled the 5 boxes of stuff into 2 boxes. One for selling on Craig’s List or charity donation, and the other boxed up and marked for clothes that no longer fit.  Then i had a basket of stuff i just needed to put away.  It still looks great.  No I just need to toss all the extra boxes, and get taking pictures for selling.

Next step..if  I dare. Is to permenantly move the crib into the kids room and have the kids share a room.  Then i will have the whole office to myself wich make room for either a sewing table, or my esil, or, or, or a bean bag for a snugly reading corner =)  Who knows but i’ll have the space to plan or leave open.
